Welcome !

Welcome to the official site of Cub Scout Pack 116 Millstone Township, New Jersey! Cub Scout Flag

Our Pack is chartered by the Millstone Township Fire Company, and is in the Battleground District of the Monmouth Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where kids can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service!

Some of the best things about Cub Scouting are the activities you get to do: camping, hiking, racing in scouting derbies, going on field trips, or doing projects that help your hometown and the people who live there. Cub Scouting means "doing".

Please browse our site to learn more about our Pack, Activities and Scouting!!  If you're having trouble accessing the calendar or any attachments, make sure you are logged in to the site.  Or contact our webmaster.

Pack Meeting (Updated) - September 25, 2020

Posted on Sep 23 2020 - 9:41pm

Please join us for our first Pack Meeting of the 2020-2021 season!  This will be held outdoors, at Quail Hill, under the Field Sports Pavilion (near the Archery and BB range).  We ask all families attending to do the following:

1.  Register NOW for the meeting by clicking HERE.  There is no cost, but we do need an accurate count of attendees to provide to Quail Hill.

2.  Review the attached COVID-19 health screening questionnaire from Quail Hill, and acknowledge via email.  You do not need to complete the form.  instead, just send an email to Mr. Schlupp at bschlupp@gmail.com with the subject line and words, "Screening complete".  This will affirm that you have read the questionnaire, understand the criteria, and your household is not at risk.  The Pack Committee will compile the list for everyone.  Please send your email confirmation to Mr. Schlupp before 5:00 pm on Friday, 9/25.

3.  Return any unwanted Rank advancement signs.  These are the lawn signs that were provided by our Den Leaders over the summer, to acknowledge and celebrate our Scouts' advancement.  You are welcome to keep the sign, but encourage you to return any unwanted signs to be passed on to next year's rank of Scouts.  Don't forget to have your Scout sign and date the back of the sign with a permanent marker, and perhaps share a few words of wisdom, for our future Scouts to enjoy.

4.  Bring extra newspapers for a fun "Sit-Upon" craft.  We will have our Scouts build their own Sit-Upons, using newspaper stuffing.  These are seat cushions you might find at a stadium or for camping.  The Pack will provide vinyl and duct tape, we just need extra newspaper for stuffing.
