Welcome !

Welcome to the official site of Cub Scout Pack 116 Millstone Township, New Jersey! Cub Scout Flag

Our Pack is chartered by the Millstone Township Fire Company, and is in the Battleground District of the Monmouth Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where kids can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service!

Some of the best things about Cub Scouting are the activities you get to do: camping, hiking, racing in scouting derbies, going on field trips, or doing projects that help your hometown and the people who live there. Cub Scouting means "doing".

Please browse our site to learn more about our Pack, Activities and Scouting!!  If you're having trouble accessing the calendar or any attachments, make sure you are logged in to the site.  Or contact our webmaster.

Scouts Australia Bushfire Recovery Badge patch

Posted on Feb 25 2020 - 11:22am

Scouts Australia -- the Australian counterpart to our BSA -- is selling the patch shown here, as a fundraiser to support scouts who have been impacted by the devastating wildfires.  Pack 116 will be placing a bulk order for fundraising patches, to support our fellow international scouts

Since international shipping to the US can be expensive, we are collecting orders, and will place a bulk order.  The patches themselves have been donated.  This means that, apart from shipping costs to the US, all proceeds will go to the scouting program.

Pinewood Derby - Jan 25, 2020

Posted on Jan 24 2020 - 8:49am

Our PInewood Derby will be held on January 25, 2020.

As in previous years, we invite Scouts as well as Non-Scouts to particpate.  By now, Scouts should have received their kits, and will race by Den.  Non-scouts will be grouped into separate youth and adult categories.

Since our Scouts will already be wearing their Class A uniforms, we will take this opportunity to hold a photo portrait session.  Our Scouts are growing quickly and advancing thorugh the ranks, so don't miss this opportunity to capture them in their current uniforms.  The portrait session will be run by a parent who is an amateur photography enthusiast, so there is no fee.  You will receive a digital image, to print at your discretion.

Details and start times are in the attached flyers.

Registration for our Scouts is open on our Event Calendar here: LINK for CUB SCOUT REGISTRATION

Registration for all guests (including siblings and adults) is on an external SignUp Genius page here: LINK for GUEST REGISTRATION
