Cub Scout Pack 116 has been in existence since 1963 and is celebrating over 50 years of Cub Scouting in the community!
Our Scouting year begins in September to coincide with the new school year and typically ends in June with our year end picnic/BBQ crossover ceremony.
The Pack consists of about 70 scouts that are assigned into Dens (approximately 8 boys per den) based on their grade/age (kindergarten through fifth grades or ages 5 to 10).
The Dens/Scouting Ranks are:
- Lion (kindergarten) *New*
- Tiger (first-graders)
- Wolf (second-graders)
- Bear (third-graders)
- Webelos (fourth-graders)
- Arrow of Light (fifth-graders)
The Dens meet twice per month and the Pack meets once a month either at a Pack Meeting or Pack Event. Our Pack offers many family oriented events so that the boys and their families have the opportunity to try different things that fit their schedules. Some of the events include a Fall campover, Fall Turkey Shoot (BB and Archery), Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, Spring Campover, Hikes, day and overnight trips to museums, zoos, aquariums, baseball games, in additionto participating in District and Council sponsor events!!
